Just watched it again and noticed Andy's upper story windows were totally different at the beginning where the two kids showed up wanting to get married...Also toward the end of the episode, Andy fired his revolver into the air during the "duel"...How many times did Andy fire hid revolver during the series?? Don't remember many, if at all, other than this one...

I believe he fired Warren's revolver at the station wagon with the counterfeiters trying to make their get-a-way.  I can't remember a time when he fired his own gun.

He fired Barney's in the Gentleman Dan episode, but I guess that doesn't count. Lol. I almost know half of nothing. :-)

You two have good memories!  You both are right, he fired Warren's revolver at the counterfeiters and Barney's revolver in Gentleman Dan...So maybe the only time he fired "his" gun was in the Fued episode...Cool thanks guys...

"My biggest beef with 'Return' is that they switched the squad car from a Ford to a Chevy. Grrrrr. My father retired from Ford so I've been brainwashed on them since birth. "

"My all time fav line is, "Daylight's precious when you're a youngun'," spoken by Andy to Barn in, 'Opie and His Merry Men.' "Just what can you do with a grown woman?," will forever be a classic."

I think we may have done something like this before but it's always fun to revisit some of the classic lines from TAGS.  Those immortal words that live on in the hearts and funny bones of us fans are definitely worth remembering.  Let's list some…See More

"Good info, Janice.  Somewhere, I saw a trailer made before the first episode aired, I believe, that showed Andy and Barney either raising or lowering the flag.  It might have been in the first episode.  But that was a great way to end…"
