If you could pick a character to be your new next door neighbor, who would it be? I'm not asking who is the most "lovable," but who is the most "livable" that you wouldn't mind seeing and interacting with on a regular basis.

Hands down- Gomer.

Good thinking!

But she's so grim.

I'd move next to Sarah, the telephone operator.  She would have the dirt on everybody in town!!

Thelma Lou, no doubt about it.  She'd be the sweetest neighbor anybody could ever have.  And when she has a hen party, she might invite me!

I'd like to live next door to the Darlings just to listen to them playin' music all the time!

Probably Otis on one side and the Darlings on the other. We would have some wild great Saturday nights. Otis supply the refreshments and the Darlings the music. Would have a headache Sunday morning before Aunt Bee that lived across the street that made us go to church.

HA!  Good idea, Mr. Wheeler.

Andy and Aunt Bee.....Andy would figure a solution for any problem you may encounter and Aunt Bee would feed you any time were hungry.

I'd love to have Goober as my neighbor.  I imagine that if anything in my house went on the blink, Goober might just be able to fix it for the cost of a homemade pie.  And that way I wouldn't have to "call the man".
