Hello neighbors! This photo was recently posted on another TAGS page I frequent by a member watching an episode of 'Perry Mason' titled, 'The Case Of the Drowsy Mosquito.' I have to say the man on the right certainty resembles Mr. Schwump. As usual, the character played a wallflower and didn't speak so no screen credit was given. He appears to be wearing a toupee as well. I couldn't find the episode on YouTube to scrutinize it further. What are your thoughts?

He definitely has a "Schwumpish" look to him!

Here's one from "Odd Facts Known by Few."  That same episode also had an actor named Jack Fife.  His birth name was Warren John Fife (1923-1975.)  I found a picture of him and he's not the Schwumpster.

The guy in the above pic could be though.  That episode was 1968.  Probably needed work when Andy ended.

Bobby, when you said the episode was from 1968, I thought no way that could be Mr. Schwump, he looks too young but I checked on IMDB and they list the episode as airing in Oct. of '63. Even so,  I still think that would make this guy too young to be the Schwumpster.

My mistake Keevy, you're right.  I was mistaking that year for a Monkees episode (Monkees Paw) in 1968 that had Jack Fife in it.  (Does the one behind Perry look like Tricky Dick to anyone else?)

~~ Jack Egbert was no prize, Jack Anderson was no ghost and Jack Fife was no Schwump.
