I read some interesting articles about the alleged murder of a person who had been on The Andy Griffith Show.  I'm sure some here knew about this but I had never heard about it before.

Apparently this person was murdered, but no one was ever charged and some speculated that it wasn't an actual murder, rather suicide or an accidental death.  Lots of rumors about this persons death including a possible connection to another famous event in US history.

So I'll throw it out as a trivia question.  Anybody know who this is?

Not Skippy / Joyce Jameson is it?  I remember reading she seemed to be a suicide, but I can't remember if there was more to it.

No, not Skippy.  Another controversy about this person is "supposedly" the name this person used in early acting jobs is different from their real name which they used later, but some deny this is the case.  So it is possible this person did not appear on TAGS depending on which articles you read or tend to believe.

So I could be accused of making a big Mayberry mouloge out of nothing.  It's still an interesting story though but may have been the victim of Those Gossipin Men.

I believe it may be the actress who played Hannah on the Wakefield-Carter feud episode.  She was the daughter of famed Chicago newspaper columnist Irv Kupcinet.

Yup, Karyn Kupcinet.  The question is did she go by Tammy Windsor early in her career which is the name credited with playing Hannah Carter in "A Fued is a Fued."

She died a few days after the JFK assasination and apparently there were rumors she was murdered because she knew who the assasin was.  Sounds pretty far fetched to me.
