Quite possibly the funniest episode in the entire series in my opinion.

I've often wondered why Andy didn't just tell Helen the truth about all the spaghetti he'd already eaten.  Surely she would have understood.  Even the Sprague's had to eat two dinners.  I have thought about Andy eating all that food and just cannot imagine forcing myself to eat 3 times.  But it sure makes for some hilarious TV.

Goober:  "Spaghetti?  After you just had it here?  That's funny Andy!"

oh, sure, hurricane Helen is very understanding...

Andy always took the indirect approach. Remember Barney and the choir!
Just watched it. Helen took the direct approach when she said (twice) to Andy....."Eat!".

Great moments in that one.  Andy breaking out in sweat. Howard and his mother whispering in the kitchen.

This is just one of many times I was admiring of Andy for not killing Gomer.  In the "car in the courthouse,"  episode, I didn't blame Andy one bit for taking out his gun in the final scene.

"oh, sure, hurricane Helen is very understanding..."

HURRICAN HELEN------Dang that is sooooooooooooooooooo funny....How appropriate...love it

I think this is the one episode that always makes me laugh out loud just by Andy's look at Goober.  This is my favorite color one and the "Pickle" episode is my favorite black and white one.

Still, my favorite line...Andy: (to Goober) I'm going over to Helen's to eat my third supper, and when I get back, I'm gonna kill you."

LOL I know and I loved the look he gave Goober and Goober's expression.

I agree. The funniest color episode, in my opinion, and it rivals some of the black and white episodes.

But now we all know the secret ingredient: O-R-E-G-A-N-O !
