May all you iMayberry father's have all the enjoyment this day can bring.  It's nice to have a good t.v. father to learn from in our own Andy Taylor (even if he did lie a lot).

glad to be spending the day with my son and my own father. I will have to admit I do model myself a little after Andy Taylor (with a slight touch of Ward Cleaver to boot)...and I cannot tell you how many times I've based bedtime stories for my son on Andy Griffith episodes..lol

I did the same thing with my son, Scott, although Ward Cleaver was my primary model. I was always asking myself, "what would Ward do?" It sure worked for me as I have a fine son who just marked 5 years with our local police department.

"Eddie Haskell?!! Spend the night here?!!"

Thank you, Sandra!

Whether its iMayberry fathers with their kids, or father with their own dads, or like Scott ~ kids-father-father's father.....  today is a wonderful day to enjoy.

Thank you, Sandra!  I hope everybody in our iMayberry community has a wonderful day!

Thank you kindly, Miz Sils!

"My biggest beef with 'Return' is that they switched the squad car from a Ford to a Chevy. Grrrrr. My father retired from Ford so I've been brainwashed on them since birth. "

"My all time fav line is, "Daylight's precious when you're a youngun'," spoken by Andy to Barn in, 'Opie and His Merry Men.' "Just what can you do with a grown woman?," will forever be a classic."

I think we may have done something like this before but it's always fun to revisit some of the classic lines from TAGS.  Those immortal words that live on in the hearts and funny bones of us fans are definitely worth remembering.  Let's list some…See More
