Funniest TAGS Episodes
Can somebody/people write a list of the funniest TAGS Episodes and I do not want to hear all of them because there are at least 100 something that are not funny or even boring?

Pound for pound, The Pickle Story is one of the best (IMO). Black Day for Mayberry is another funny one.

You know, it's actually kind of hard to make a list because, unless you've seen them all 100 times, it's hard to remember which scenes belong to which episode. In my opinion, the funniest episodes are in seasons 1, 4 & 5. Barney's always amusing, but Andy really shines in season 1, Gomer in 4, and Goober in 5. Goober and Howard Sprague have a few standouts in seasons 6-8. Hope this helps a little. :)

That is a personal preference. I love all of the ones Gomer is in but my wife doesn't. So, I don't how to answer. But if you have to see one I say "Sermon for Today". Gomer: spider bite!

Yeah Im a fan of the cops ones where Andy and Barney are stopping criminals along with ones with Gomer and Floyd and Barney.

I agree about "Pickles". Don't know the correct titles of some of them but among my favorites are, "The Loaded Goat," "Escaped Convicts (women)," "Barney gets kicked out of Mrs. Mendlebright's," "Ernest T gets an education/manners/uniform, etc."
Others in the top group are "Mountain Wedding" aka "Barney Wears a Bridal Veil," "Briscoe Declares for Aunt Bee," and the ones with The Fun Girls.
The first three I named are probably my all-time favorites. Some memorable lines in those. For example:
Barney to female escaped convict: "Let me take you to the land of rhythm and pleasure." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The Pickle story is my favorite, but Those Gossip'n Men is pretty darn good :) It cracks me up cause yh women do gossip but men can do it just as well too ;)

The embarrassment of riches that is TAGS makes it really hard to pick but my top three are Citizen's Arrest, Mountain Wedding, and The Haunted House.
