OK...Let's find the stuff that may not be so obvious, and the ones that make you think, "Hey, I never noticed that before." and post them for all to now be able to notice.

Post the Episode and the thing you noticed.  See my first post as an example.

Wow, that's some mighty fine noticing'!

On the 1st episode, Andy's front porch has a wall that comes out about where the kitchen is. On future episodes, the wall is gone so that the front porch is much longer.

Also, throughout several seasons, the backdrop behind the side street by the courthouse changes quite frequently. I've seen an archway to open space... then store fronts ... and even "rooms for rent", to name a few scenes...
Have you ever noticed Aunt Bea's friend Clara has 3 different names?
Clara Johnson
Bertha
Clara Edwards
In the reunion movie, "Return to Mayberry", they kind of forgot about Opie's brother, Andy Junior.

in the episode, “ Andy and Barney in the Big City”... They went into the hotel and asked for a room… Which means they did not make a reservation. You would think in a big city that they would have. Just an observation

I remember when we traveled back in the 50s and 60s my dad would look for motels with the Vacancy sign on.  I'm not sure folks made many reservations like they do now.

Very good point David Browne. I don’t recall seeing too many of the Vacancy /No Vacancy signs anymore.

What a great thread, guys. Sparks travel memories from the '50s. THANKS.

My five-year-old granddaughter is on an out-of-town trip this weekend with her folks and the most exciting thing she was looking forward to was staying in a hotel. I remember that thrill, too.
