Hi Folks... new to the forum- is this the earliest footage of Don Knotts?

Hello iMayberry folks!

I've loved the Andy Griffith show since I was a kid, watching the reruns on Channel 50 in Detroit, Michigan.

I'm working on a DVD/ Blu-ray project right now that includes what may be the first footage of Don Knotts, on a 1948 episode of Arthur Godfry's Talent Scouts show. Does anyone know if Knotts appeared in any film before this appearance? I'm working on a liner notes for the set, and so far can't find any reference that goes back further. Thanks for your time all!

Shazam, you may have the earliest one there! At least IMDb says so.
