Now in two cases and in only two cases I know of.
The following 2 people and I believe just them have the same first name in TAGS as the same in real life.
Andy Griffith - Andy Taylor
and
Elinor (Ellie) Donahue - Ellie Walker
Now aren't those the only two or not?
Are there any more?
Why is that/this?

I was gonna use: Fred Goss (drycleaner) ............ Fred Sherman, but I do recollect that Goss' full name is listed as - H. Fred Goss.
Not sure what the "H" stands for.

I would like to put in my two cents worth as to why. I don't know this for a fact, but since it happens so often, I would say it cuts down a great deal on the re-takes. It's impossible to accidentally make the mistake of addressing someone by their real name if their real name is being used as the character being played as well. :)
