Hi gang and thanks Allan for this forum. I was curious if there were any plans for returning to New Castle, Indiana for the event. It seemed like it went over pretty well during the previous events. I know the shows were sold out and many people got the stars autographs. I really missed it after it was gone. I sure hope it comes back. I only live 20 miles from New Castle and would do anything to help. I know it was close to coming back a couple of years back. But things fell thru. Makes it alot easier for us Midwestern folks to enjoy our slice of Mayberry.

I doubt that there will ever be another Mayberry in the Midwest event.  The organizer of the event, to the best of my knowledge, has moved away from the area.

Folks don't realize like this one require somebody, usually one person, to be the organizer/champion of the event.  That one person pushes to make the event happen, get sponsors, and all the MANY things required to pull off a big Mayberry event.  Sure there are others that volunteer to help but that's only after that organizer has done all kinds of up-front work.

That said, very few people are willing to do all that work so I'm betting that event is over.
