Music is such an important part of TAGS.  Wouldn't have been TAGS without it, would it?  Let's think of all the different ways music was used in Mayberry.  Sometimes it was just for pure enjoyment; sometimes for a special purpose.  Let's think of some of those special musical moments and how they influenced the residents of "The Friendly Town":

I hate to say it but I think Clara was trying to vamp the owner of the organ she so wanted for the church.  Her rendition (to him) of "Some Enchanted Evening" was absolutely smokin'!

Barney singing 'Nita, Juanita over the phone was always special. I just found out that it was a real song, published in 1855. Ward Cleaver was singing it in an episode of Leave It To Beaver, believe or not. For June Cleaver's sake, I hope Juanita wasn't living in Mayfield before she moved to Mayberry.

I saw this too! I also noticed that in a couple episodes of Leave it to Beaver, that Eddie Haskell''s father is played by the same actor, Karl Swenson, that portrayed Mr. McBeevee. However, there was something not right about seeing him without his shiny hat!
A special thanks needs to go out out to Miss Poultice. Where would the singing talent such as Barney and Leonard Blush be without her fine academy.

Me they me they me they . . .

I always thought it was touching the way Miss Poultice held her head high despite having a twin sister like Big Maude.  Can't swear that they're twins but the resemblance is uncanny!
