Have you seen this man?

Something Steve L. posted the other day gave me an idea.  This guy appears in almost every episode of TAGS.  He plays everything from a bystander to a construction worker.  In some episodes he is a member of the choir.  In others he just walks through the scene.  Sometimes he is just a face in the crowd.  You have to really look close to spot him but the more you look for him, the more he appears.  How about we play Spot Tom and see just how many times he shows up and what his role is each time.

I spotted Tom in 'Aunt Bee the Warden'.  He was the guy who brought Otis the ladder so he could climb down from the roof and escape from 'The Rock' aka Aunt Bee's prison.  Of course she was waiting for him at the bottom.

Good luck!

Here it is, Jubal. I removed it shortly after posting because it was off topic. He appeared as an extra in many Dick Van Dyke episodes but never spoke. The only reason I know who he is, is that Dick Van Dyke identified him (by occupation, not name) during the dvd commentary of an episode he appeared in.

He looks vaguely familiar, probably because I grew up with tv.  I was born in 1950, so I remember some of the very earliest programs, sitcoms, and all the HOF entertainers from back then.  Thank God for Danny Thomas, who gave us The Andy Griffith Show, along with Sheldon Leonard, and St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Maybe his a member of the crew that they use when the need an extra extra so to speak.

I see that this thread includes mention of Tom’s only spoken line, in Goober Takes a Car Apart.  In that same episode, a John Coons is credited.  I heard that that was Uncle Johnny Coons from the 1950s kids’ show and that he was in other TAGS episodes.  Anyone have any info on that?
