all of us here in mayberrry knew and loved Ken Berry on T.V.

l loved Ken Berry as widowed farmer Sam Jones to me his most iconic role. He was kind, friendly. although I didn’t watch F Troop much through the ethosis of syndication like most of us was able to enjoy Mayberry r.f.d as well as other things. I think we should have a podcast and dedicate it to Mr. Berry. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Yes, RIP,  I enjoyed him in everything I saw.  Great entertainer.  Unlike you, I didn't care for the Sam Jones character or Mayberry RFD.  He was just too serious.

Side note,  I have an Uncle that served in the military with him.  My Uncle said he was the funniest man, always up to something.
