I went to App St in the mid 80's , and a couple of friends and I were already the kind of TAGS fans that be a part of this kind of forum...we watched re-runs everyday after school in high school, and watched re-runs in college on TBS every night.
So no surprise when Richard Kelly (sp?), a professor in Tennessee who had written a book about the Andy Griffith show, was going to give a talk in Boone. I already had the book, the first one I had ever heard of that was about Andy, and wanted to get it autographed.
So one afternoon, we gathered in a class room and he talked about the book, the show, and even brought a film projector and showed the pilot episode from the Danny Thomas show. There were about 8 people in the room, but we all, including Kelly, shared that common bond, and if you are reading this, you know what I mean.
Anyway, towards the end of my senior year, someone borrowed the book and never returned it. I thought about it a few times, but it was only after joining this forum did I think to find a copy of the book...with Ebay, it is on the way.
Just wondering if any of you had this book?
