Permalink Reply by Scott Vincent on July 3, 2012 at 9:24pm wow this is like a member of the family passing. Mayberry has been a part of my life for so long and I could watch these shows over and over again. Some nights I have hundreds of channels to choose from and what is the best thing on?..you got it..The Andy Griffith Show. It is not just a tv show, it is a way of life. A place where decency, honesty, friendship, good humor and simplicity will always be in ample supply. We will miss Andy, but just like Barney, Goober, Floyd, Otis, Aunt Bee...all the rest..they will always be with us....I am sure on my dying bed in some hospital somewhere, I will be watching Andy..and it will be just as good then, as it is now...Goodbye Andy..thanks for the memories..see you down at the fishing hole!
