I don't get it, I just don't get it.

In "Man in a Hurry," two elderly sisters paralyze telephone communications every Sunday for hours. One of the sisters even lives out of town in Mount Pilot. We know Mayberry must have a lot more than one line, we know that there are no other times citizens have trouble freely using the telephone. So-called "party lines" I am sure were a part of Carolina living back then, but such only inconvenienced a handful of users. Dang nabit.

P.S., I won't even bring up how Sarah had to work 24/7/365.
