That's a good 'un. I can think of 5. (But I will let others try first.)
And like a dumb*ss, I forgot the episode you mentioned in the first place - 6!
He also played Sam the Butcher (aka Alice's Boyfriend) in The Brady Bunch.
The detective Bartoli -Allan Melvin
That's right. Alan Melvin. I should let this sit for a day or two before I go on.
Or better yet, give us a harder one. I found one this morning:
Name the one and only episode where the word 'SEX' appears in print.
". . . and name all the episodes that actor was in and the characters he played"
Is nobody gonna play? The two I missed are:
Lawman Barney (1962) ... Neal
Jailbreak (1962) ... Clarence 'Doc' Malloy
Since nobody got this one I figured I better pony up and give the answer.
In Ellie for Council one of the picketing women is holding a sign that reads:
'Fair Deal for the Fair Sex'
The others B&W's Allen Melvin played in:
1963 "Barney's First Car" Jake
1963 "Ernest T. Bass Joins the Army" Sergeant
1964 "Andy's Vacation" Convict
1964 "Barney's Uniform" Fred Plummer
And Barney leaned on the wall in the elevator with both hands on the wall and hung his head in shame and disgust. He did that another time. I remember once when he stormed into Andy's house and 'did the lean' on the fireplace mantle when he was upset about something. Oh yeah. -- The Barney wall-lean.
@ Dud, wow I am drawing a total blank on the sex in print thing. I'll have to go look for that.
Good responses here.
Thanks folks.
