A little twist to LINES from the SHOW: Let's take turns adding lines and letting folks respond by saying WHO said that and to WHOM it was said. Once you answer one, be polite and leave one for the next person.

Good job in identifying those three!

How about "Spot Tom"? The guy that shows up in many episodes.

Thanks Mayor. I never would have thought of him. I am rather new here and just got around to checking out the thread on Spot Tom. Hilarious.

Here's one: "Two young people lost in a world of pills."

I can’t take 4 dogs home...my wife barely let’s ME in the house!

Who said that?

Otis.....in one of the finest episodes for one-liners.

Who said "I'll come!" and where was it said?

Sounds like maybe Goober?

I think you are right, Bernie, and it was when Andy, Helen, Barney and Thelma Lou were going to the movies and Goober tagged along.

...or was it Nurse Mary to Barney?...when he offered to take her to Rafe Hollister for a shot?

marko

Yes! Goober and the Art of Love. Another Gooberism is "Say it again".

Who said "I'm a giant when it comes to potting petunias!" ?

I love that line. That's Andy to the boorish Roger Hanover, not long after Roger "helped" Andy fix a lamp.

Of course, Roger thinks he might get a hand in those petunias yet......

“A boy stood on the burning deck...”

Who said that?
