Chapel & Mayberry Bible Study

Visit the chapel for comfort, support, and prayer. Your Mayberry friends will join you and lift up your concerns. This is not an area for random talk but rather for quiet reflection.

We will also use this area for discussion of the Mayberry Bible Study to include the podcast version of the study.

The Mayberry Bible Study Podcast is based on the Mayberry Bible Study originated by Joey Fann back in 1998.

Host Allan Newsome will be visiting episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and exploring how characters from The Andy Griffith Showbehave.  Does their behavior reflect poorly or positively, from a Christian perspective, on their character.

The podcast will be released monthly. We will listen to an episode of The Andy Griffith Show and then discuss what we might learn. The podcast will focus on the 16 public domain episodes of The Andy Griffith Showbecause we want to show good character and no break copyright law as we study what the Bible teaches.

We hope you’ll join us for some Mayberry fun, prayer, and learn a little along the way.

Thank you for having a site such as this.  I am 43 years old and have been born again since I was 7 years old.  I have my own Ministry called Gray Rider Ministries and I do services for Civil War Reenactors and am a member of Cowboys For Christ.

I am a Christian and work and dream of the day the Golden Rule will be applied to our animal friends.  Please pray for them as I do many times a day.

Stopped in today to praise God for a beautiful day and to thank Him for all my blessings; my health, my family and the freedom to worship Him. Wishing everyone a blessed day and hope you all will always feel Mayberry in your hearts.

Please follow this link, leave a review, and a "star" rating in the iTunes store if you use iTunes.  The more comments and rating the podcast has...the better our chance others will find the Bible study.   I'm not asking for comments about me, but rather about the Mayberry Bible Study itself.    The Lord is who this Bible study it about.  He is the focus of all we're doing.

If you leave comments or not, THANK YOU for listening to the Mayberry Bible Study Podcast.

Spread the word about what the Lord is doing though our favorite show!  He can do things none of us ever dreamed of but I believe we have to spread the word in order to join Him in what He's doing.

The official release of the "Aunt Bee's Medicine Man" episode of the Mayberry Bible Study Podcast is February 26, 2012 so it's coming soon.

Was on the road over 7 hours to attend my son-in-law's Istallation Service at First Church Of God, Linton, Indiana. It was a very good service, pray for Kenny and Mary as they minister there.
