Chapel & Mayberry Bible Study

Information

Chapel & Mayberry Bible Study

Visit the chapel for comfort, support, and prayer. Your Mayberry friends will join you and lift up your concerns. This is not an area for random talk but rather for quiet reflection.

We will also use this area for discussion of the Mayberry Bible Study to include the podcast version of the study.

The Mayberry Bible Study Podcast is based on the Mayberry Bible Study originated by Joey Fann back in 1998.

Host Allan Newsome will be visiting episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and exploring how characters from The Andy Griffith Showbehave.  Does their behavior reflect poorly or positively, from a Christian perspective, on their character.

The podcast will be released monthly. We will listen to an episode of The Andy Griffith Show and then discuss what we might learn. The podcast will focus on the 16 public domain episodes of The Andy Griffith Showbecause we want to show good character and no break copyright law as we study what the Bible teaches.

We hope you’ll join us for some Mayberry fun, prayer, and learn a little along the way.

Was on the road over 7 hours to attend my son-in-law's Istallation Service at First Church Of God, Linton, Indiana. It was a very good service, pray for Kenny and Mary as they minister there.

Um... I guess so I mean a chapel is basically a church and the Mayberry Bible Study has to do about church. Just dont overrun the Chapel with ONLY Mayberry Bible Study Stuff. Keep it mostly Chapel Stuff and the other half could be Mayberry Bible Study. But, make sure you keep it basically Prayer Requests and Praise Reports. And a little bit of The Mayberry Bible Study. That's my point of view. But, it's up to you.

The next episode of the Mayberry Bible Study Podcastis a special episode! It was recorded LIVE on the Mayberry Cruise with about 30 or so people (maybe more...I didn't count) in attendance. The episode is "Rafe Hollister Sings" so I hope y'all will be ready to have the new episode coming your way.

We skipped the month of December because I was under the weather and Christmas activities took my spare time. I'll get back on schedule now. Next Sunday, be looking for the podcast to be released to the Internet.

Whew...I haven't done the intro yet for the next episode and it's already 1 hour and 2 minutes long. I guess that means the final show will be about an hour and 8 minutes or so. I think y'all will enjoy it ....even if it takes two days to listen to. ha ha.

I would like to hear things about the Mayberry Bible Study.

I don't see a problem with that.   After all, it IS the chapel, and I'd think that's where you'd want to post stuff like that.

Chapel members,  Would it be acceptable to you for me to post things about the Mayberry Bible Study here as well as prayer requests and praises? I thought it would be better to do that than create another group for the Bible study.
