Just got signed up for this club....  what's its name?  I can't tell ya......

Greetings from New Hampshire.  I've been listening to Allan's podcast from the start.  Love the podcasts.  The Top Five for getting people hooked on Mayberry was very interesting.  Allan had at least 2 I would put on the list, including Convicts at Large.  I think that is Floyd at his best!  Wasn't that his last episode before he had the stroke?

Allan, do you a voice for Floyd, pre-stroke and post-stroke?  Unfortunately a lot people's vision of him is the character after the stroke, not that he wasn't great then too.  But before the stroke, his physical comedy was just hilarious.  I love the way he tugs at his pants to pull them up.  Just classic!

Anyway, just wanted to say I'm glad to find this site!

Episode 173 of Two Chairs was inspired by a conversation happening right here at the iMayberry Community forum.  I hope you guys will listen and share you're opinions.

I'm going to have to wait until later today or maybe even tomorrow. I guess that means I'll end up going "live" on only a few hours notice.  Sorry about that.  I'm still trying to get all the stuff together I want to do for the show.  Just so y'all know, I'm digging up information about "The Guitar Player" and Bobby Fleet...well, trying to anyway.   If you have any, pass it along to me.

I know it is late notice, Allan, but that works for me.

I am out of town and I don't think my little iPod will do live things... But have fun without me. That's sweet of you to think of us regulars..

Hopefully I can join in at that time, Floyd.  Can I also get a snip clip at that time? :-)  I know "those boys from the mountains" take a little extra time, so I'll figure that in. haha

Hey Floyd, I believe it'll work out for me. So I guess count me in. Sorry, but Goober still cant make it to  that Two Chairs No Waiting show it's good. He has to run the filling station until 3pm. SO, Goober STILL wont make it! He's expecting to fix some car plugs and stuff like that. GomerBarneyFloyd will be there though!

I'm open to whatever time is most convenient for you on this, Floyd.   I don't do a lot on the weekends anyway.  Folks don't bring in too many toasters on Saturday, so I can come whenever you need to do it.

Comment by Allan "Floyd" Newsome on January 5, 2012 at 10:08pm

The live version of Two Chairs No Waiting is going to have to move to this weekend rather than the Monday night time slot.  The national championship football game is Monday night so I'm gonna have to shift it.

I'm thinking perhaps Saturday afternoon around 1pm ET.

I'd like to hear the regulars thoughts on this.
