I'm an animator and professor of animation history. Besides animation, I especially like the comedy shows I grew up with, including The Andy Griffith Show, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres and Gomer Pile.
What sort of hobbies or interests do you have?
I collect films (16 and 35mm) and produce a series of DVDs and Blu-rays of rare animation and other films

Hello IMayberry Folks,

Like so many fans, I grew up on the Andy Griffith show and, almost immediately, had favorite characters. I especially love Barney, and Don Knotts was in one of my favorite movies as a child as well (the Ghost and Mr. Chicken). I really liked 'Limpett' as a kid too of course.

These days I teach animation and animation history at an art college in Detroit, Michigan. I also run a small company called Thunderbean that releases rare films and animation on DVD…
