ACT LIKE SOMEBODY

As of late in the Deep South, and more specifically, on the South Carolina coast, we have experienced weather that is somewhat foreign to us. Ruth Burch - Casting

You just can help but notice her name when you see the closing credits on TAGS.  Ruth Burch lived till her 90's if I am not mistaken.  She was in charge of casting for not only TAGS but for many, many other TV shows.  This is an important job for any show to become successful.  Just think, she would have been responsible for many of those who had parts in the show over the years.  I am sure Andy and the producers had a big part in selecting talent, but I can't help believe that Ruth was very…

What's Your Hurry?

As Andy, Opie, and Aunt Bee sit on their front porch on a Sunday morning, they speak to and about the different folks passing by on their way to church. Andy pops off a line as he waves saying, "Mornin' Eli. Good service, we went to the early one."



As another family passes, Aunt Bee remarks, "Look there Andy. Four generations...all going to church together. There's Claude Sr., Claude Jr, Plain Claude Beamon and Claudette...."
