I've been a TAGS fan most all my life (I'm 55) but am new to all this online stuff. I guess I'm like a lot of people who felt a personal loss this week and are looking to reconnect with a treasured part of their past. Anyway, it appears you are the man making most of this work and I want you to know that a newcomer to town appreciates the time, effort, and expertise you bring to Mayberry.
Thanks again for doing a wonderful job as host and tribute artist!...I know my questions have been asked before, but why did the first year of TAGS have the window covered at the studio on the courthouse set...didn't they think we would notice...
I just love Otis..all I have read about him has been very favorable..even the wonderful part on Focus on the Family! I hope he knew the Lord as his Savior...Someday I will get to Mayberry Days.
Floyd, I forgot to add last night when we all were in your shop, KJ the Cub reporter for iMayberry Community was giving us a LIVE feed from Mt. Airy. How cool was that! I'm sure she will fill us all in on Monday...Oh....by the way augh, we kinda broke a bottle of your aftershave. Hope it was'nt that expensive stuff from Mt. Pilot. Goober-Fife....
A bunch of us got together and chatted in the shop, Barney forgot to give the knob a shake so we all came in anyhow.Hope your not mad! We all acted like somebody. Tom jumped in and brought us up to speed on his event...

Hey Allan, I am considering doing the Mayberry Bible Study for my Sunday School Class. How can I get the series. Is it a book or DVD's or can I use my own DVD's. Can you give me some info on this. I teach the Deaf people at our church and thought maybe this would be a good series. Thanks for your help. Kathy Jo
Theres one problem with your iMayberry Community Chat. You never know who/when someone's gonna be on chat/online to chat. Several time I am online and no ones online to chat with or there online but do not chat with me. Or they set it as their homepage, but they are doing something else so they dont know your chatiing with them.
Thanks Floyd. I'm enjoying myself here in Mayberry! I thought it was a donkey in the picture but now that I look at it a bit closer, I see that it is a horse....guess I need to put my glasses on while at the computer. :)
Hi Floyd, really enjoyed watching the clip from 1966 with Andy and Barney, Never saw it before. I am enjoying the site although I don't see much discussion going on, maybe I don't know where to look. Thanks
"Well, it depends on the chronology you use. As we found in "The Case of the Punch in the Nose," there can be discrepancies of nearly 20 years with these things. Knotts was about 63 and Betty Lynn was only a couple of years behind him at…"
"Well, thanks folks, for chiming in and, yeah, between the sugar pills, doctorin', soakin', and soup slurpin', I'm back on my feet for now. Although, at one point I did have to holler "Taters!" at the top of my lungs.…"
"What cornball accent? Seems to me like he talked just fine up until he started hangin' around that arshman that walked around in the trees. That feller was enough to make anybody start talkin' funny, what with the smoke comin' out of…"

"Another mystery: When Andy and Helen moved to Cleveland due to Andy's new job as a postal inspector, did Helen find a new teaching job as well? In other words, did Helen stay home and learn to cook or did Andy eat frozen dinners for 20…"
"Did you "soak it," Big Jeff, like Andy recommended to Sarah? Apparently, that make everything all better.
As to the murderer and the victim, I don't have a clue either (HA! "Don't have a clue...get it? Huh?…"
"Old Doc Andrews took good care of you and fixed you right up. It was really the sugar pills that Emma Watts gave you. She had a hard time getting them. Someone is at the door and I know you hope it is not more chicken soup. Gomer says hey! Hey to…"
Hey All,Long time no see, it's me, it's me, Big Jeffrey. I've been ailin' with various miseries, so I ain't been too active, but I'm back for now, and I've got an idea for a topic: (don't know how original it is, tho)For any TAGS fans who like to…See More
