I'm watching "Rome Adventure," with Suzanne Pleshette  and Troy Donahue running around Italy, and who should they run into but Clara Edwards. I guess that trip to Mexico gave her the travel bug.

Is Clara trying to orchestrate a romance in this movie?

Yes, but with her nephew and it's too late because Suzanne is already gaga over Troy.  In real life too.  They married right after filming.

I would imagine it's not easy to find a waiter/flamenco dancer in Italy. 

It's hArd to beat that corner room at the Y...no matter what country it is...

Unless you follow Aunt Bee's sister's plan and go to visit relatives.  Sometimes you wind up with weird sleeping arrangements though.  But if you do, just read a little bit of National Geographic and you'll go right to sleep.  You'll need your sleep if you're going out to view the blacktop the next morning.

You might even get to sleep on an ironing board between two chairs.  That's excitement!

I'd take that corner room at the Y over goin down to great dismal swamp to hunt black bear; That Mary Pleasant from the bank musta been a real roughshod type o lady.  

When Barney was in Raleigh he enjoyed eating at the restaurant that had the waitresses dressed in peek-a-boo outfits. Floyd got a big thrill out of that, but it left Opie stumped.
