Scott, I believe you can delete your own posts but I'm not sure. As an admin, I know *I* can delete posts but I'm not certain about users being able to do the same.

I also have an "Edit" link under every comment I make so I can go in and edit what I'd already written.

OK, I see, now, where you can delete the original post and all the replies at once by hovering your cursor in the top right corner of the area of your post. Don't see that there's an option for deleting individual replies within a thread.
