Andy Clyde and Shemp Howard

I suspect we need a little cheering up around here today.

Before he was Mayberry's 'Frank Meyers', before LASSIE, THE REAL McCOYS and sidekick to 'Hopalong Cassidy', Andy Clyde was one of the most popular movie comics for decades.  He began for Mack Sennett as a Keystone Kop, costarred with Billy Bevan and others in the 1920s, and had his own comedy series of short subjects at Columbia from 1933 - 1955.
