I know I saw a thread on here about “Barney’s first car” but, I can't find it. Still trying to learn to navagate.
In that episode, Mrs. Leish brings the car to Mayberry from Mt. Pilot for Barney to look at and purchase. She made arrangements for her nephew to “pick her up at the Church around the corner” should Barney purchase the car.
Later in the show after Barney gets the car back from Wally, Andy says, “Let’s take the car back to Mrs. Leish in Mt. Pilot.” As you know, on the trip the car strands them along the way. (That’s a Ford for you) My question is, once they returned the car as Andy said, how were they to return to Mayberry? Walk? They made no provision for that task.
