Just wondering, of all the TAGS episodes, is there one that you just can’t watch, and why?
We all know the colored episodes are difficult to watch. Believe it or not, the episode I can’t watch is the very first episode “The new housekeeper”. I know the intent of that episode was to introduce us to Mayberry and the people. However, the story was so un-real to me. Aunt Bee throws her pole in the lake??? The bird returns??? Aunt Bee holds the bat at the wrong end???? Opie boiling eggs for 45 minutes, where was Andy? Opie knowing how long 45 minutes is??? The only good part of the show is Emma being arrested for jaywalking.
