I made up this six Mayberry Jokes. Hope everyone likes them. I'll try to post a few jokes a week unless you start throwing tomatoes at me 
Why didn't Barney want to go to Hollywood with Andy and see celebrities? Because he was still seeing stars from trying to get fresh with Thelma Lou!
Did you hear that Andy needed a new baby sitter? Yeah, Barney wasn't keeping the law good enough.
Why did Floyd stop charging for haircuts? He had plenty of 'Knots' lying around (for those who didn't get this joke the word knots was a slang word for a wad of paper money and Don Knotts was the actor who played Barney)
Why did Aunt Bee avoid seeing Ellie? Because Ellie was a Big Pill!
Why did Doctors come to Barney for advice? Barney was an expert on 'Cells'.
Did you hear Andy and Ellie were going to be in a play together? Yeah, they practiced their 'Scripts' day and night.
These are corny but fun Mayberry jokes that Barney would probably arrest me for :-)
