I was watching the ep about Gomer joining the Marines that's included on the 'Gomer Pyle-USMC' DVDs with commentary by Jim Nabors. After the episode, he gave the following heartfelt thank you. The celebrities today could sure learn a lesson from him.
"This has been very meaningful for me to have you watch these episodes with me. I learned a long time ago that in show business, you never make it by yourself and it's you folks that certainly made it for me and I'd just like to take this opportunity to tell each one of you personally that I'm very, very grateful to you. God bless you all."
