George Lindsey may have left us, but in the fictional town of Mayberry, comic book fan Goober Pyle is alive & well, and he went and saw THE AVENGERS this weekend... and enjoyed a brief appearance by an actor who once appeared in an episode of THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW.
