Just checked...you are correct, Opie is brushing his teeth. No toilet, but definitely the bathroom.
In earlier episodes, season 1, there used to be a door in the corner behind the heater. It was between cell 2 and the window to the street. But then it dissappeared. Maybe they didn't want a bathroom in plain view all the time. maybe it would require too much flushing sound effects. lol
Has anybody ever noticed that the mail comes pretty early in Mayberry...sometimes even before Opie went to school (Andy Saves Gomer).
I haven't really noticed how early it comes, but I did notice that the mailman blows a whistle.

Has anyone ever noticed that the guys in the Gold Truck didn't pay for their gas...or at least it doesn't appear that they did...they just sped off in a hurry. Hahaha
While recently watching the episode "Barney Hosts a Summit Meeting," I noticed that when Andy made a phone call, he said "operator" instead of "Sarah.
It just hit me the doctor in the episode “Ernest T Bass joins the Army”, is also Harry Becktoris, Ramona Wiley’s husband in Season 3 “Class Reunion.”
"A Feud Is A Feud" - Andy gives them feudin' fellas the wrong firearms after checkin' 'em.
I don’t remember anyone stopping for a dog at Duncan’s. It’s actually one of three eateries shown in this part of the episode. Who knows the episode?
