With three young grandchildren who always seem to be fussing with one another, I say "NIP IT!" a lot.
When visitors arrive I often will greet them with, "Come on in the house!" Had an uncle that lived very near Mt. Airy and he'd greet us like that whenevr we made our yearly visits.
