My family were all Andy Griffith Show fans. We watched religiously because my parents thought that it was a great moral teaching show for their children. We were a Military family that moved around but one constant was TAGS. I served 8 years in the Army SSGT. My brother was in the Navy on the Presidential Yacht Sequoia under Nixon and Ford. My Dad was a First Sergeant in the US Army. Two sisters served ..one Air Force and other Coast Guard. All surviving family members still watch TAGS daily.
