TAGS: Launching pad to fame and fortune!

I have enjoyed TV Land's recent scheduling of the black & white TAGS episodes.  Yesterday, I was struck with the realization that many young actors' TAGS appearances catapulted them on to bigger and better things.  In fact, it seems that CBS used TAGS to get some exposure for actors on upcoming CBS shows.  Here's a partial list I have come up with: Buddy Ebsen (11-13-61) "Opie's Hobo Friend" --Beverly HillbilliesEdgar Buchanan (12-4-61) "Aunt Bee's Brief Encounter"--Petticoat JunctionAlan…See More

Brad,

I grew up in Attica spent my whole life there really. Graduated in 1988 went to Indiana State for 4 years worked in the finish machine shop at Harrisons during my summer breaks and worked for them for 6 months after graduating in 1992. Left there to work at Fairfield Mfg. in the engineering dept. and I’ve been there 19 years. I built a house down at our family farm 10 miles south of Attica on 41 about 6 years ago. I have a Veedersburg address but I still consider Attica my home and home town because my parents are still there and I’m always around there. If you have ever watched the Potawatomi parade you may have seen my Mayberry Squad car in it. I don’t always have it in the parade just when I can get somebody else to drive it, I ride my horse in the parade with my little boy and parents and friends. We are the ones that stand up on top of our saddles and show off LOL. I also own and operate Pine Creek Karaoke. I’ve got a really big Mayberry collection you should come see it sometime.
