Just watching one of the episodes where Andy is "wooing" Peggy. The thought popped into my head wondering if Ron Howard ever was asked or mentioned if he had a favorite of all the ladies that Andy "sparked" with on the show. I guess you could even include the Fun Girls. Anyone here know? I'd love to ask Ron.See More
"There were two episodes. One where Opie learns to dance and the other when Howard has his swing'n singles party, complete with bear-skin rug.
I like the scene where Goober literally drags her along since Howard and Goober have worn her…"
"I will give it a shot, no cheating:
1. Plays the escape prisoner with dog hair on his suit. 2. Fred Plummer the angry street sweeper. 3. Is the escapee when Andy goes on vacation. 3. Is the house detective in the big city. 4. Is the Army recruiter.…"
"Somebody posed a trivia question to me the other day:

"Those two fellas who were peddling produce over on Dexter street sure high-tailed it outtta there when Barney cleared his throat, tugged at his tie and then tapped on his holster. But they ended up coming back, so Barn had to face em again and…"
"I guess when you've seen an episode a dozen times or more, you begin to notice those little goofs in continuity. Mainly because they either didn't care about it, or it just slipped by. Probably the former, given time restraints for…"
There are several instances where Leon shows up eating a PB&J sandwich and offering it to others. Also the bit where Barney was lecturing the young boys that how being in jail there would be no PB & J. I wonder if this was something reflecting a favorite of Any himself or Don Knotts. We will probably never know the real reason for so many references. Add that to the mysteries like the identity of Mr. Schwump. BTW--did Andy's autobiography ever get to market and if not---why not?See More
